Dispatcher Positions
Our Communications Center has the responsibility of answering incoming 911 calls as well as non-emergency
calls for service. Radio-dispatching services are provided primarily for the Sheriff's Office and Fire
Department, but we also assist and communicate with Animal Control, Public Works, and Fish & Game field personnel.
There are three public safety dispatch supervisors and 10 public safety dispatchers for the Communications Center,
and the center is manned twenty-four (24) hours, seven (7) days a week, with a minimum of two dispatchers on duty
at all times.
Please visit the main
County Employment Opportunities page to see if there are any current positions open for public safety dispatchers.
