Sutter County Sheriff's Deputies Conduct Tobacco Sting

Sutter County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted by underage Sheriff’s Cadets conducted a series of tobacco stings in the Sutter County area. A total of 22 businesses were contacted, with 21 of the businesses refusing to sell tobacco products to the Cadets. One clerk was cited on a misdemeanor charge of sales of tobacco products to a minor. The clerk was identified as Gary Richard Heinrich, 48, of Yuba City, an employee of Bills Market, 1443 Franklin Road, Yuba City.

Those businesses who refused to sell tobacco products were identified as:

  • Quick Stop Market, 1285 Bogue Road, Yuba City
  • Lincoln Market, 1197 Lincoln Road, Yuba City

  • Am/Pm Mini Market, 1332 Bogue Road, Yuba City
  • 99 Discount Store, 10017 Live Oak Blvd, Live Oak
  • More-for-Less, 10020 Live Oak Blvd, Live Oak
  • Neighborhood Store, 4313 South George Washington Blvd, Yuba City
  • Super Stop Market, 2494 Archer Avenue, Live Oak
  • Sunny’s Market, 9820 Broadway Road, Live Oak
