On 11/10/03, Sutter County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Live Oak Substation responded to the Live Oak High School, 2351 Pennington Road, Live Oak, regarding a large vandalism and thefts from student lockers at the school. School authorities reported the vandalism and numerous thefts from 197 out of 200 student lockers at the school. Deputies conducted an investigation and were able to develop leads that led to the arrest of four juveniles for the vandalism and thefts. The four, age 11-14, are all from the Live Oak area. Much of the property was recovered from the residences of the juveniles. Damage to the school was estimated at $1500.
