Shooting Suspect Sought

For Immediate Release:

Sutter County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating the whereabouts of shooting suspect (see attached photo) “James Patrick Holcomb”, white male adult, 21 years of age, 6 feet, approximately 160 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, multiple tattoos on his neck and chest, from Live Oak area.  Suspect is armed and dangerous. Suspect last seen in a dark colored lifted pickup, extended cab with tinted windows. Suspect is wanted for a shooting that occurred in Sutter County and also wanted on a parole hold.

On Sunday, June 4, 2012, Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 10,000 block of Larkin Road in Live Oak in reference to multiple reports of gun shots in the area. Upon arrival deputies located a 16 year old male who suffered a gunshot wound to the upper thigh. A search of the area was conducted, but the suspect was not located.
