Sutter County Sheriff’s Detectives seek information regarding Meridian Burglary

The Sutter County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in solving a burglary that occurred at approximately 4:50 A.M., Sunday, January 30, 2011 in Meridian, CA.

Five suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts and headlamps broke into Meridian Supply, 15000 block of Central Street, Meridian, CA. The suspects entered the business and stole numerous items of property including new Stihl powered blowers, shredders, trimmers and chainsaws all valued at approximately $40,000. Video surveillance shows the suspects loading the stolen property into a light colored passenger van with side windows similar to a Ford E350. A unique characteristic of this van is that the side door is not a slider but has double doors that open outward.
