Monday, September 28, 2009 3:00 PM

For Immediate Release:

At approximately 2:10 p.m. today, Sutter County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a possible burglary in progress in the 3000 block of O’banion Road, Yuba City.

The victim alleges the suspects gained entry by kicking in the front door to the residence while he was in the bedroom. He heard the door crash, came out; saw suspects running down the hallway and out of the residence when he grabbed his gun and confronted them.

The suspects got into a Ford Explorer parked in the driveway and drove towards the victim while he was yelling for them to stop. The victim then fired 5-6 shots into the radiator in an attempt to stop them just before it rolled onto its side. The suspects exited the Ford and ran through a flooded orchard. The Sutter County Sheriff Deputies, Detectives and a K-9 unit set up a perimeter and located the suspects within a mile of the residence where they were taken into custody. All three suspects were treated at Rideout Hospital for minor injuries sustained in the accident.

Tiffany Ann Abila, 31 years old, Angelina Walters, 27 years old, and Marcus Campbell, 26 years old, all out of Sacramento was booked into Sutter County Jail on charges of burglary and conspiracy.

Detectives have recovered jewelry boxes and other items from the Ford Explorer and are checking whether the suspects are linked to any burglaries in the area.
