SUBJECT:
Sutter County Deputies Intercepts Stolen Farm Equipment
TEXT:
At approximately 9:11 pm on Sunday, July 27, 2008, Sutter County Sheriff’s
Deputies while on routine patrol observed a silver Ford F150 with a bankout
wagon (a piece of farm equipment) in tow parked in the area of North Township
Road north of Riviera Road, in Live Oak. Deputies made contact with two subjects
who advised they were taking the bankout wagon to a recycling center. Upon
further investigation deputies were able to confirm that the farm equipment was
stolen out of Butte City.
The investigation led to the arrest of William Arthur Greylock, 50 years old out
of Yuba City and Teresa Renee Barrera, 39 years old, out of Biggs. Both suspects
were booked into the Sutter County jail on charges of possession of stolen property.
The Sutter County Sheriff’s Department is reminding citizens to secure your
belongings and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.
