Subject
Minimum
Security Inmate Escape
Text
A Sutter
County Jail inmate walked out of the Minimum Security Facility last
night at approximately 9:55 PM. The inmate was discovered after an
alarm on the east gate was triggered indicating that it had been
opened. This gate is an unlocked fire escape perimeter gate. An
immediate head count of the Minimum Security inmates housed in the
facility confirmed that an inmate was missing from the male dormitory.
The
inmate is identified as
Jon Thomas Danisan, a white
male, age 47, 5-11, 160, brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen
wearing inmate clothing which consisted of a green shirt, and green
and white striped pants. He is a Yuba County resident and a life-long
resident of the local area. Danisan was in custody for numerous
misdemeanor and infraction traffic warrants, and he is considered to
be a low-risk inmate and not a danger to the public.
A
complaint charging Danisan with escape has been forwarded to the
Sutter County District Attorney for a warrant of arrest. Danisan’s
minimum security privileges have been suspended and he will be placed
in the Maximum Security Unit upon his return to custody.
Anyone
with information concerning Danisan’s location is asked to call the
Sutter County Sheriff’s Department at (530) 82207307, or your local
law enforcement agency.
